hi. we have a 1950's shower door

Most standard shower doors come in 32" wide, but ours is 23.5" wide!

Geez! And looking at some custom shower door companies, they will make it for $167.50..

Is it worth it?

2. I took my old glass doors out and replaced them with nice cloth (as opposed to plastic)

shower curtains. I hated those doors functionally and aesthetically.


I was surprised how easy it was to remove. Just a few screws and a little cleanup where the caulking was laid down as I recall.

We used one of these and we're very happy with it. OUrs has a different glass in it, but it is essentially the same door. They're an easy homeowner installation and are adjustable for width. This one, I am almost certain, will fit your opening.

I seem to recall that we paid more than the quote you got for a custom jobbie.
