Buy it in one gallon cans or five gallon cans. Use roofing hot tar brushs, wide brushes with broom stick handles, or mop to spread it. Leave the stripping compound down for as long as the directions say. Spread heavy duty plactic around patio. Take hose with pressure nozzel and power wash paint stripping material off patio on to plastic. Repeat steps again and it should be fine. Pick up plastic with gunk on it and throw the problem away! There is also concrete stain on the market for patios! After the paint is removed!Even if you paint over it ,you will still have to remove as much of the old paint as possible. Paint stripper allows you to get ridd of it all.Talk to somebody in the paint department at your local builders supply, tell them what I said, the sales rep. will see to it that you have what you will need to apply the stripping compound!~ Or just print this out ,take it with you and tell the sales rep. I sent you!
It,s messy ,but very effective. Use painter mask to block fumes. And wear gloves, the throw away vinnal gloves are fine .And wear clothing you don,t care about, throw it away with plastic!
He had the right idea with the pressure washer, the secret is the paint stripper!
Good luck with your project
