Help, atomizer problem. I was sent to you fine folks for help.
A while ago, I bought on e-bay, 2 bottles of
of perfume, both unused. The fragrance Audace, by Rochas is no longer made and I like the fragrance.

I started to use one some time ago and it is fine. I leave it downstairs. I was getting dressed for an evening occasion last night and tried to use the second bottle, just because it was handy. Immediately the atomizer top snapped off, leaving me no way to get the perfume out. If I could figure out a way to get this out, I could transfer it to another bottle. The atomizer showed traces of glue where it joins the top of the bottle so I'm sure the seller knew and tried a do it yourself job to fix it.

Any ideas on how I might get access to the liquid? I'm sure that it is under pressure so that it would spray. It has been too long to contact the seller and I paid quite a it for it.

Any helpful hints would be appreciated.

I guess it is also a warning about buying things that have atomizers.

1. being that the bottle has an atomizer ...
the contents are not under pressure. The "glue" may dissolve with acetone (nail polish remover) or lacquer thinner, I would suggest that put in a vise between stiff rubber or flexible plastic and remove the tip with a pair of channel-lock pliers. Don't over tighten the vise or you will end up with nothing more than nice smelling shoes. Be sure to have a sealing container close by because that stuff will evaporate very quickly... and at $150 per 0.5 oz. You probably don't want too much of that drifting off into the atmosphere once you get it open. DO NOT try and heat the bottle with a flame to loosen the top... It's contents are extremely flammable.
