new floor today!

gonna lay it today, and put 2 coats of finish tomorrow, and the last one on friday. would like to be using synteko, but just can't get all the animals out of the house for that, so going with a urethane.
guy comes highly recommended. he had the good fortune to give me his quote on the day the door came, so i went with him instead of a guy who was cheaper. he was a local guy, but i didn't know anything more about him than that. he was working on digging me up some references, but seeing that crazy door just made me go- eh, i'll take the guy i know is good. it's only money. i don't want to look at that floor ever day and be unhappy.

well, gonna go vacuum and get the last of the crap out of there.
