1. Just installed a reclaimed oak floor
Highly distressed surface with visible saw marks et al.
Sanded it lightly with vibrating floor machine to 120 grit.
A few open knots need filling and I need to select a final finishing product.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

3. Greetings, floorguy. This is one of my favorite groups and I
have learned so much here. I should also mention my fine friends in "Computer " group too.
All bailed me out of situations that I found above my level of competence.

Many have asked for help about floors, you good advice will be appreciated. I bet a large part of DU has this group in their list of favorites. Do it yourself is fashionable again. For some of us, it always was.

Welcome!

4. I've got a question. Last year I had cork floating plank flooring
install in my whole house except for kitchen and baths. The instructions said to keep them clean by vacuuming and to occasionally clean them with the same kind of floor cleaner that you would use on a sealed wooden floor. What do you recommend?
