I don't carry long distance service on my home phone because its free with the cell. So I use the cell for all my long distance calls. But I hate using my cell phone for calls at home. My home phone is much nicer to hold and hear with. Much better and clearer audio on the home phone. Be nice if there was a way to direct my cell calls through that when I am home.

Anything out there I could put in line with my home phone and cell that would allow me to do that?

I am thinking there has got to be. Got everything else. Just not sure what you would call it.

Thanks in advance if anyone knows.

1. Good question. I used to forward my cell to my home. But that was when I was young and single.
Now I don't want to talk to anybody.

I seem to remember a gadget that would link the two but that was like 15 years ago. It was some sort of a base/cradle you placed your cell in. Apparently it never took off.

2. My solution was this ..
I purchased Magic Jack http://www.magicjack.com and plugged it into my USB port. Cancelled ATT home service and it works great.

You need high speed internet, DSL etc.

FREE long distance to all of USA, Canada and Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.

4. LOL - This thread.
I was formulating my response to the OP and Viola! There it was - somebody had the same answer as me. Oh, it was me - a year ago!

Anyway, cute gadget. The one I had in mind was truly integrated. But that was back when I was considering "renting", from CitiBank, a phone with an integrated display screen so I could "conveniently" bank by phone. So that tells you how long ago.
