Glass top table cleaning
I have a dining room glass top table, in my living room my coffee table and my side tables are glass top but my problem is ------- cleaning them. They also look streaked. I have used vinegar, I have used all kinds of glass cleaners but they don't do the trick. Any suggestions?

1. Newspapers and window cleaner that has a bit of ammonia in it
might work.

2. For most glass, I use an ammonia based window cleaner
a scrubby sponge, and a squeegee. That seems to get them cleanest. While newspaper can reduce the appearance of streaks, I think it's more because the ink in the paper just makes them darker and harder to see.

Ammonia seems to be the key for cleaning glass. The other thing to remember to do is wipe one way on one side and the other way on the other side so that you know which side any streaks are on. Most streaks can be buffed out of existence with a soft, dry cloth when they dry and appear.

However, the squeegee keeps them from appearing on my glass items.
