Ballpark figure on vinyl siding for a three bedroom house?

1100 sq. ft. single level, built in 1988. I'm not after a quote here, just something to convince myself it's not too out of line. :hi:

It depends if you are talking 1100 sq ft of floor space or 1100 sq ft of siding.
11 sq of vinyl around $4,150.00 and if you are talking 1100 sq ft of floor space with a couple gable ends around $6000.00 based on $375.00 per sq.
We get about $425.00 per sq for insurance restoration work. That includes house wrap and tape, window tape, J channel, starter and siding.

Does vinyl siding generally include an insulation layer as well, or does that cost extra?

3. Vinyl siding

does not include insulation unless you pay extra for the vinyl siding that does. Even the siding that does have insulation has a very minimal R-factor.
