Any recommendations for interior design software?

I'm just in the planning phase of an interior semi-remodel of our home. I'll probably save most of the cabinet boxes, but will add new counter tops. I am also putting down floors, adding wainscotings throughout, changing trim, and adding crown moldings. Most of the appliances are recent additions, so they'll stay.

Anywaaay... I'd like to find some type of software that will allow me to try different finishes, flooring, details, etc. on the screen so my wife can help with the design (a necessary step before I'm allowed to bust out the tools). :D

I'm looking for a program that is user-friendly and doesn't break the bank.

Anyone had experience with this?
