Can someone track personal information with your email addy?
Like your name, address, phone number and other stuff like that. Thanks in advance.

1. That depends.
If you've filled out personal information on an insecure website that can be be informed by googles spiders, a simple search can make it show up.

It can be done by ISPs, of course, but that takes a court order.

And someone could always hack your email account.

2. I emailed someone a couple of times but now I want to discontinue.
All he has is my email address. I was just wondering if he could somehow find out personal info about me. I didn't know if someone could do that unless they are computer savy.

3. Ok, you shouldn't have any trouble then.
To be on the safe side you might want to do a web-search for that particular email address just to see what comes up or what it is attached to.
Things have gotten better over the past few years, but people sometimes don't realize just what sites keep their information confidential/encrypted and which don't.
