"How to" domain redirect question.
I have a site online.

I just purchased a new domain name to use for my students to do webQuests, etc.

I'm hosted with ipower, using the vdeck system.

How do I make the two domain names point to two sites. All I can find is how to "make all your domain names point to the same site!"

I'm not sure I get the subdirectory thing. If I make a new folder named "school" in the public_html directory, what do I name the index page, so I have two sites with different indices?

Am I making any sense at all?

Help. :)

1. ipower has a online help - use them
directory are the same idea as what is on your own computer
a directory is a folder - two names - same thing
index page is your home page
if you have a directory you want a index page in each folder/directory or people will be able to see your directory structure
similar to looking at your C drive but your space on ipower and that folder directory and each of its files

I assume but will explain in case my assumption is wrong - to look at your own directories on your C drive you go to START and right click - highlight explore - this is called explorer not to be confused with Internet Explorer the browser (microsoft likes to confuse non-techies so they name things the same but they are different)

Explorer allows you to look at your files and folders on your computer C drive - a folder inside a folder is a subdirectory
Your public html folder on ipower is similar and consider it your C drive on ipower servers (computers)

use their online help for using the cpanel and the redirect

so your schoolFolder/index.html is your first diectory and index page
then you can have directory school2Folder/index.html and it is another index page in another directory/folder
