During the Pope's funeral, Blitzer began accusing Paul Begala of not being "a good Catholic," by insinuating that Catholics in good standing are conservative, politically.

This kind of statement cannot be ignored! Please take the time to read the article (from Media Matters), and be sure to contact CNN and Wolf Blitzer and express your dismay.

If things are going to change, it's going to be up to us to do it.
(For the record, most Catholics I know are "good Liberals.")

I don't believe it. I think there's really a belief among many that, somehow, liberals can't be Christians and vice versa.
