1. DU rules reminder

Do not use the DU Groups to "rally the troops" to go participate in discussion threads elsewhere on our website, or to likewise encourage members to vote in polls or recommend threads or alert on posts.

And I agree that it's useful because threads in the upper stratosphere of DU disappear so quickly that I'm sure I miss 90% of them (that's probably my fault for staying focused on the main page)

However, doing it to "rally" anyone is a whole other thing altogether, imho

I haven't seen the violations you speak of, and fwiw, the mods aren't omnipotent - unless threads are alerted upon, they have a chance of getting around the rules.
