I think there's potential. I did what they said NOT to do though. I listened to the first CD (which you're supposed to listen to for four months before proceeding to the next step)while I was going to sleep at night. Very intense, incredibly vivid, and disturbing dreams occured-however, one was a lucid dream and was only the second one I've ever had in my whole life so that was kind of cool). Also, I started smoking again after having quit in 1992!!! I called their hotline in a panic. The lady I spoke with was wonderful. She said that is wasn't uncommon for things like this to occur and that I was reverting back to old coping mechanisms. It kind of freaked me out though because I'm a recovering alcoholic and that was a coping mechanism too. So I'm off of the CD for now. I've set a target date to quit smoking on 8/1 and I'll probably resume the CD on 9/1. I would say to definitely NOT listen to the CD at night and to be in aware of how to deal with baggage that will come up.
