Songs and prayers are offered at the only Buddhist Temple in Virginia Beach.

Thanh Cong Doan bought the property and moved in about a year and a half ago. He is out of town right now, but another monk, Thanh Chuc agreed to speak with 10 On Your Side. Thanh Chuc moved here five months ago. Through one of our producers, he explained why he loves his new home.

Donna Franken told Commissioners that she has no problem with her neighbors, but added "I'm very passionate about this. This is a residence and should remain a residence."

She also said she believes this may be about more than vehicles. "I think if this was a Christ thing going on and we were having group meetings for that, I don't think we'd be having this conversation," she said.
