Regarding the merging issue...my 3 ideas
Edited on Thu Apr-14-05 12:00 PM by wildflower
SOUPers,

I read the posts on this and the ATA exchange. Here are 3 options I've thought of.

1. Merge and rename: We could merge the groups but rename the combination "Progressive Faith Group" without Christian in the title, so it is clear that non-Christians are welcome.

2. Rename this group: There are quite a few Unitarians on DU, aren't there? And threads on UU that take place in Religion/Theology. Maybe if we renamed this group to Unitarian-Universalist group, UUs and like-mined people browsing the DU groups would see it and come visit.

3. Mention S.O.U.P. threads in the Religion/Theology group. In other words, if you post a poll on Unitarianism, post in the Religion/Theology group saying "I've posted a poll in S.O.U.P. if you're interested in going over and voting." Gradually people would start realizing the group is here and take part, perhaps.

Your thoughts?

I could post this to ATA to, if you want.

ON EDIT: I think I'll re-post this as a poll; maybe a vote would help.
