My uncle went under a pen name to compose these. It was unseemly for a man of his stature and profession to be writing Rag Time. The first piece "Aviation Rag" could have influenced Ferde Grofé when he wrote the "Aviation Suite." This according to Professor Bill Edwards, a researcher of Ragtime music.

I collect ragtime sheet music. I don't think I've ever seen a piece of his music. Perfessor Bill, of course, has everything! That's a nice bio he has on the site.

You should be very proud, indeed, and I hope you have learned to play these pieces!
