Hello...I've been saving dryer lint to put out so birds can use it
for their homes. (I was told that if you scatter this around, birds will pick it up and use it). However, it occurred to me that I use scented dryer sheets in my dryer. I wonder if any of the chemical would be still left on lint, as naturally I wouldn't want to put it out in that case. Anyone have experience with this? Thanks!

1. I have no experience with that, but it seems to me...
... if it's safe for your clothes that wear next to your skin everyday, it's probably ok for birds. Some birds are known to encorporate all manner of plastics into their nests.

Of course, you could always switch to non-scented sheets - probably best for everybody all around.
