Saw and photographed my first Crested Caracara

Really neat falcons they are. I was going through King's Ranch heading down to South Padre Island, Texas. I saw this Crested Caracara from the car, swung onto the shoulder. I jumped out grabbing my camera and long lens. This photo is not that great. There is no post-processing, just a slight crop.

I am hoping to get a lot more good birding in while down here.

I am really excited. I saw an osprey while we went out for dinner. I am going to try to get a good pic of an osprey as well.
