Spring is here
Went for a walk yesterday and saw dozens of robins and a couple of bluebirds. Finally an end to winter.

1. I love spring.
Best time of the year...pretty soon the warblers will be back too.

I just got my first bluebird of the year this morning...And the Robins and Red wings have been back for awhile already. The ducks are starting to filter through too.

Its so nice to go outside and hear cardinals making their wet little chirp and the house finches singing and and ahh...spring. I love it.

3. The goldfinches are back too
I have to go replenish my thistle seed supply. I got home yesterday and saw a red wing black bird sitting on the roof of my house. Telling me "fill your feeders".

4. whippoorwills
calling last night, along with the spring peepers, southern leopard frogs, upland chorus frogs. No gray treefrogs last night. Saw 3 adult cottontails cavorting, courtship perhaps?. Hope springs eternal.
