Do you ever find yourself hoping that your neighbors don't think that you're spying on them, just because you're always at your windows with your binoculars all the time?? I swear, I think I'm going to be arrested one of these days.

1. if they do they haven't said anything
I think most of my neighbors are fairly clueless. Keep in mind the glare on your window glass from outside might keep them from even seeing you there with your binoculars. I always have a small bird book (the Kaufmann) in pocket when I'm outdoors looking for birds around the neighborhood. However, since I'm a woman, no one has ever accused me of peeping. After all, we women are supposedly not visual. :eyes:

The conservation movement is a breeding ground of communists
and other subversives. We intend to clean them out,
even if it means rounding up every birdwatcher in the country.

2. Yes!
The other day, my six year old was telling me he saw a red-tailed hawk in our neighbor's yard (it turned out to be a cardinal), and when I was looking through the binoculars from our window, my neighbor
caught sight of us "spying" into his yard. I felt so embarrassed!

Luckily, he's into birds as well... :D
