haven't been able to work out
I am on a downward spiral of my illness (bipolar) and have been unable to muster the energy to exercise in a full week, that is a long time for me...my docs tell me to go with the flow and do what I am able to, but I feel really bad about being so slothenly and that just makes me feel worse....I need some encouragemnet that this will pass, that one day, I will again enjoy my workouts and want to take good care of myself...sorry for the depressing post...thats just where I am...

1. What type of exercise do you actually LIKE to do.

Take 10 minutes today. As soon as you get home and do it. Walk around the block, something. You know you'll feel better afterwards. I'll be looking for your post later that you did it.

Aren't you a part of the Boston crowd? Do we need to get one of them to come drag you out?

4. I just went for a 21/2 mile walk, ...
stopped at places to do errands, but its a start...I do feel a little bit better...thanks for the push...can you do that everyday? :9

5. I've been out of it too for a couple months...
just doing on again off again, and it's starting to get to the point where I say "what the hell is the point?" and quit.

But I'll try to rescue it before it gets there.

Anyway good luck Mrs. Sniffa! I'm sure you'll do fine, and someday you'll tantilize me again with your tales of that special type of aerobics that you do... I forget what it's called.

Seriously... we all have limitations. Please don't be down on yourself over something that, for medical reasons, you just cannot do.

Do what you can and GIVE YOURSELF CREDIT FOR IT! And if you can't, then remember to come here and we'll do it for you!

Life's a journey and sometimes the road is bumpy. But it won't always be this way. You'll hit a smooth road soon enough.

You might try putting on your favorite music & just dancing.
I always feel better when I do this.
