I have been skipping my workouts too often for a while,
but this week I think I am back on track.
I challenged myself to workout each morning & walk at lunch each day Monday through Friday this week.
And I DID IT!

1. good for you!!!
i've been slacking off lately, too. i find i'm just not as motivated when it starts getting dark so early. with the time change this past weekend, i only worked out monday evening.

but i took today off from work and went for a 4 mile run this morning. once i get back in the swing i know i'll be ok.

2. I have just been really busy.
I have been volunteering with local groups for the election and renovating my bathroom. The election is over on Tuesday and I should manage to finish the bathroom in the next week, so hopefully I will have the time to get back at it soon.

3. Me too
Three weeks off, to be exact. My acid reflux flared up severely, resulting in major asthma trouble, at the same time I was under the gun at work to get software shipped on time.

Now everything is good and my 24 kb kettlebell is calling my name...

4. me too but I'm ready to get serious again
I've had a pulled calve muscle for three months now - it was better but then I reinjured in mid Sept so last few weeks i've been laying low.

it still hurts but I don't know what else to do but keep moving. Try to do nothing that will put too much strain on it but I can't let the rest of me atrophy, or let my metabolism die again from lack of movement.

So I went some strengthening machines Friday and Monday I'm going to hit the pool again.

Here's to comebacks!

5. YES, 12-hour workdays blow
It's always dark when I get home and I don't feel like working out. Especially since I have to eat dinner and go to sleep immediately after and that's not good.

Oh well, there's always the weekends and lunch.
