Thursday, 11/10: I worked out today--did you?
:hi: Good Morning!

I did 35 minutes on the elliptical, and then went to the weight room for my upper body stint (rowing weights, dip/chin machine, pec machine, tricep extension, lat pulldown, shoulder press, and chest press).

Legs are sore from yesterdays's leg routine, not too sore, but sore. I think I'm right where the fitness instructor said I should be.

It's strange though, because my old routine never left me sore. I'm not used to being sore. I understand the logic behind making myself a little sore, but it's a little defeating... I mean, I've worked out all this time, and now I'm getting sore. :silly:

Well, how did you folks do today?

1. I did a light workout this morning.
Just tai-chi & yoga. It felt really good to just stretch.
When I walked yesterday my shins were really hurting. I think maybe I over did it a little yesterday. I am fine today, so I plan on walking at lunch.

2. Had a great workout today
45 minutes on the treadmill - mostly running! :woohoo:

Then I did some stairs and some biceps and triceps. I'm pleased because I'm getting back a lot of the strength in my left arm, I've noticed.

But my weight loss has hit a plateau. I was doing great in the beginning, then nothing. So I'm going to do more cardio in the coming weeks. I've just been sick for the past week, and before that I was on vacation. So between all of that and my pretty serious neck problems, I guess I'm doing okay. :)

3. Yoga this AM and going climbing tonight at the gym
Since my basement flooded I had to rip up all the carpet and I don't want to drop the weights on bare concrete. I need to go get some rubber mats.

5. Swam 1-1/4 mile and was having coffee and muffin by 7:00am.
First time back from the 'flu and it felt good. Pool was hot today though and my fingers were prune-y by Lap 12.

6. After taking the day off yesterday,
I did Body Max today. I don't usually take rest days, but man, did I feel stronger and more energetic after the time off. Maybe a rest day now and then isn't a bad thing! :-)
