Thursday, 2/16: I worked out today--did you?
:hi: Hi gang!

Yesterday I had to be into work extra early so I didn't get my workout in.

Today, after warming up, I did my usual ab workout. After that, I jogged 2.5 miles.

How did you guys do?

2. I swam this morning and thought I was doing really well but
the older guy with the snorkel was a motorboat today! I don't know what got into him but he lapped me this morning!

4. Yes, I did
dumbbells, raking (again), rooted around in a flowerbed, found about 50 bulbs trying to sprout. I think tomorrow I will go on a motorcycle ride and not work out at all - simply enjoy the scenery.

Question - I do nearly all my work with weights using dumbbells now, with only a very few barbell items thrown in - is this a bad thing? Before I retired from my last job, I was doing bench press sets with 250 lbs, now I'm using 120 - 150 lbs, with correspondingly lighter dumbbells, but a lot more sets with more reps. How say you?

6. I had time to do 60 minutes but quit after 30 on the elliptical.
I was just dragging today -- I suspect because it's so hot but not hot enough to turn on the AC.

Or maybe it's because I'm the most tired on Thursday due to my work schedule (Mondays and Wednesdays are 14-hour days!)

But 30 minutes is better than nothing! :)
