Simon Rosenberg: The Wes Clark of the DNC Race

I'll start off by saying for president, I would have been happy with either Dean or Clark. Both of them had great messages, and both would have been great presidents. In many cases, it seems that a lot of Clark and Dean supporters were similar

Now, with the DNC race, we have 2 similar, and great options between Rosenberg and Dean. I know Rosenberg gets knocked around a little on this board, but he would make an excellent chairman. He and Dean are similar in the same way Dean and Clark were. And, just like Clark, it seems like Rosenberg just isn't getting the traction he needs to score a big win. While I'll be happy with Dean, I could be equally as happy with Rosenberg, and will be somewhat dissapointed to see him lose.

3. Comparing Rosenberg with Wes Clark is a serious stretch....

I like Rosenberg but he's nowhere near the caliber of competition that Wes Clark was. Rosenberg has plenty of years to take his place. Let's allow the party faithful to pick this time.

It's looking really good for Dean, but Simon Rosenberg has a nifty idea to build a noise machine. I hope that all of these candidates will pool their various talents and work together to kick the crap out of the ghoulishness going on in DC.

As I listened to the cons heaping praise on Gonzalez today and feigning indignation that ANYONE would dare to criticize the 'son of immigrants' -- I kept thinking that they MUST have some truly ghoulish skeletons in their respective closets. I'm sorry, but these freaks need to get off of our tax dollars. Any dems that go along with this charade should go as well. :kick:

5. Rosenberg< Clark

Rosenberg is in support of the Bush military policies in Iraq. As I have pointed out, people in Simon's economic class can afford to be brave about this war, because they are not going to be the ones wearing the uniform. The closest they come to those who will fight and die is when they drive by in the comfort of their limo.

Clark obviously wore the uniform. He hasn't asked anyone to do what he doesn't have the balls to do.

I'd say that is a huge difference between them. It's a character test that one passes, and the other fails.

and I see the similarities you may have pointed out. However, it stops right there.

Clark & Dean = Powerful candidates who were both qualified

Dean = Media attention

Clark = No media attention (except the smears)

But that's where any similarity ends.

At first I thought it was just because he got into the race late. But then it became obvious that the media was smearing or ignoring him.
