The DNC needs a Liberal Media Liaison person, and I cannot imagine anybody who could do this better than I could do it myself.

How could I get his attention to make the pitch?

Pitch it to them, and then see if they're interviewing
him and can help set up a meeting so you can pitch it
yourself.

And if you're serious, then yeah, they owe
you. All you need is for them to help you
