There is a sort of swagger to Howard Dean’s smile.

Here he is, poised to take charge of the Democratic Party, a striking comeback after his flameout a year ago in the presidential race...

“There are a lot of people in this city who are afraid I’m going to be very unorthodox — and I am,” Dean tells a door-busting crowd of supporters in the lead-up to his election Saturday as party chairman. But the bruises from his crash to Earth after flying high at the start of the presidential primary season are still so fresh that Dean is displaying a new, determined effort at restraint.

I been hoping for Dems to see what us out here in the real world see. And I think just maybe its started. Now we all got to sharpen our blades for the coming battle. And you know it is. The RNC and the Wurlitzer are--as we speak--coming up with their normal pack of lies,fabrications, misquotes, and bushit. We gotta hit each and every one of them without quarter. I personally like Connery's character's comment in the Untouchables: "They put on of ours in the hospital--we put one of theirs in the morgue." Nice.
