Tough DNC chair, tough Senate minority leader; will the DINO lambs
come home to the flock?

It just seems to me that with tougher leadership, we may get less DINO-like appeasement from our more elephantine types.

Are there any you think we'll see return to the fold?

No more mixed metaphors, I promise!

1. What I've seen of Ried is impressive.
There is hope now that Dean is at the helm.

2. News reports indicated that the dinos were working on
diluting Dean's activities and impact. We're going to have to keep getting in the dino's faces.

3. Somehow I have my doubts about how something that has yet to happen
is news, and I wouldn't give a nickel for the talking heads, either.

If they want Dem money, they know they have to offer something up.

5. I probably heard this on cbs. That's what I usually listen to.
Unfortunately, I can't find it. According to them, the dinos are looking for ways to blunt Deans power and impact. I'm sorry if it upsets you, but its almost always better to face up to things. And for the record, I happen to like Dean a lot.

6. Sheesh, is it always this touchy in this forum?
I'm not upset with YOU, I just think the MSM has an agenda in everything.

If you meant no insult, I'm sorry.

7. No problem.
Sometimes things that are written are easily misinterpreted. I'm sorry.

4. Sorry, I don't see Reid (or Pelosi either) as "tough". Durbin would be
a fighter. Bush** and Co. trash him, he complains a bit then goes to a goddam dinner with the slime.

8. You don't see Reid as a fighter?
Open your eyes.

9. Nope. I've seen him many times (not in person, but on CSPAN) and
he doesn't seem like a fighter to me. This latest trashing of his reputation by Bush** people infuriated me. What does he do? Goes to a goddam dinner with him!
