Flip-flop Hillary?
If Hillary Clinton decides to run for the White House, whatever "flip-flop" accusations we saw volleyed at Kerry will be nothing compared to what she will endure.

Her husband the President vetoed a late term abortion and now she talks about some kind of reconsiderations. And she talks about faith and other red states code words. And how she grew up Republicans in Illinois and apparently and, of course, she worked on the Watergate investigation - on the Republican side.

Don't get me wrong. I think that Hillary Clinton is one of the smartest, intelligent, articulate person in the county. She can be a great Senator or a member of a cabinet in any administration. But after the vicious attack that we saw with Kerry, the same will be done with her, and then some.

Now, it may be that some years down the road the Democratic party will decide to "compromise" with what some think would get the votes of the Red States: prayers in school, censoring movies and TV programs, genuflect in public at every opportunity, support the continuation invasion of privacy "for our children" and restrict woman's right to choose. I certainly will not want part of this party but I would hate to see such a deterioration starting with nominating Hillary Clinton to be President.

6. She's weak and a republican kiss as
She panders to the GOP ....it makes me sick ....besides she'll faint when the pressure's on. John Kerry stepped up big in the convention speech and debates. He's the man for 08!

7. She's too damned centrist...
and we don't need a republican democrat. I think Wes Clark can convey a better message (w/o all the controversy that would surround Hillary) and still maintain our liberal democratic values.

9. Yes, because losing was fun!!
:eyes:

Neither Kerry nor Hillary are legitimate candidates. Let's focus on the midterm elections and see what happens after that.

15. She'll have fainting spells / Kerry tougher
Thick skin my ass! She'll start those fainting spells when they go after her...

Kerry has sandpaper skin and grit, ...I remember Bush made some stupid claim about Kerry on the campaign trail and Kerry was making fun of him "Is That All You Got George?" also joked about Springsteen's nickname. Bush heard the "Boss" was traveling with JK and thought it was Cheney!!!

2. We'd have better luck running Jane Fonda.
Hillary is radioactive. No matter how brilliant she is, it wouldn't work.

4. We can ignore them but too many voters are gullible
to believe a well-oiled smear machine.

The only way one can fight them is to be ready with quick response to their attacks. I don't know how Clinton can explain her changes.

12. Actually, they'd nail Jesus as "soft on defense"
..what with that "turn the other cheek" business.

Besides, they'd either ask what he was getting up to with that Magdalene tramp or they'd wonder out loud why at age 30 he was unmarried and living with Mom.

10. Hillary will do Fine. (and shes much more liberal than she lets on)
HRC is playing the game. She is reaching out to red staters and taking those Regan Democrats back from the GOP.
Once elected, she will be the lib we all know and love.

Frankly I think she is our best hope right now.

11. You can't accuse her of flip-flopping because
of a decision her husband made as president! That's ridiculous.

16. I would vote for her only
If i had to. I would vote for moral reasons only.
Gay Rights and marriages
Pro-Choice
Separation of Church And State
Iraqi War

otherwise, she's too liberal. I doubt she would win.
