Ohio secretary Of State Question...
On the homepage of my local Democrats it says Bryan Flannery, Candidate for Ohio Secretary of State will be speaking. Is this anything interesting for the Democratic Party, should I give him my encouragement and try to stress how important election reform in Ohio is, or is this really nothing big.

If so I have a chance to go see him because its only about 15 minutes away from my house, I've never heard of him before but I do know most fraud of this last election was under the watch of current Secretary of State Kenneth Blackwell who now is running for Governor I believe

1. OMG, yes!
I would definitely take an interest in democratic candidates for SOS in Ohio. Blackwell is not only entertaining a bid for Governor he's already gotten himself into a bit of hot water over some illegal fundraising letters.

Go! Find out what Flannery has to say and weigh his chances as a serious contender for the SOS position.

2. If there is any chance of getting a Dem in Ohio SOS position it is
REALLY BIG! In Indiana, our newly Republican-dominated legislature is trying to pass legislation to give the SOS the power to resolve any 'disagreements' among Dems and Repubs on the Bipartisan Election Committee. This means that the Repub SOS would be calling all the shots, Dems would be at his mercy. If you can get a Dem in any state SOS position it will keep the legislators from warping the election system against Dems.

:bounce:
