Why did those 73 Dems vote FOR the bankruptcy bill?
I won't name names because that will descend this thread into a flamewar and what's done is done. (others already named names anyway.)

Hope this isn't a dupe, but has anyone asked the officials we voted for WHY they voted that way?

2. They aren't my kinda Dems
Need to vote em out. I am working on it and I do a great deal for some of these jokers as part of the local Dem apparatus. Time for some fresh blood.

5. What's the plan?
I assume you're going to vote against them in the primary. But if they won the primary, would you ACTUALLY vote for their republican opponent? Or for an independent that has no chance of winning, but will draw votes from the Dem?

Are you willing to give the seat to a Republican in order to vote this person out?

6. It is not voting, though you are right, as a Dem, I vote Dem.
No, it is working to help the candidates. I did a great deal for some who won and now voted with the Repugs. Not this time. I think they will find the Democratic Machine at the grass roots level is not to be supportive of these turn-coats in the primaries this time around. We may even solicit people to run against them. Hey, they are in bed with big donors, we need to fight them hard.

7. So my suggestion is..
...Fight hard, but fight clean in the primary campaign, cause the Repubs love to pull stuff from the primaries to use in campaigning, then point and say "but they said it first". Run your campaign, but remember you might have to support this guy later.

But I'm sure I'm telling you something you already know.

11. Mine voted for it.
Mine is one of them. I emailed to ask what caused him to support legislation aimed at hurting his constituents. I'm still waiting to hear back.
