Robertson: Judges worse than Al Qaeda

Federal judges are a more serious threat to America than Al Qaeda and the Sept. 11 terrorists, the Rev. Pat Robertson claimed yesterday.

"Over 100 years, I think the gradual erosion of the consensus that's held our country together is probably more serious than a few bearded terrorists who fly into buildings," Robertson said on ABC's "This Week with George Stephanopoulos."<snip>

Federal judges are a more serious threat to the religious right because they won't play by the right's rules. repubs always cry foul when something doesn't go their way.

...and even if he had a 'whip count' right now with 50+, I truly think some Republicans with buckle under their own conscious, and there won't be majority AT THE TIME OF A STANDOFF!

I think a standoff on the vote will be ominous, scary and a lot of Senators are afraid of the unknown if they break things.
