3. A corrupted rallying point

but as long as we recognize progress is forward momentum not sudden pure conversion then this single party, like it or not, is the strongest viable hope on a perilous horizon.

You work toward the absolute but you suffer no delusions such as are absolutely necessary for the crazies. Aiming for the best means chances for humanity to simply survive, and survival without incalculable and needless sufferings under the scourge of stupidity and vice for the amoral riff raff of Mammon elites.
