Who would really notice if these two corporations merged together? When in power, Democrats viewed working with moderate Republicans and conservative Democrats as the most effective means of holding power. Now Democrats are not in power, but still view working with conservatives and moderates as the central role of our party. Since the sixties, Republicans have used bigotry and political mudslinging as weapons to obtain and hold power.
Stage one was to dehumanize liberalism, stage two was to take power, and stage three will be to merge the two parties. If Democrats really wanted to win, they would be slamming Hastert, Bush, and Frist on a nightly basis. What do we have to lose? Imagine if we couldn't change a station without seeing another Democrat slam weaselly W for passing the buck on healthcare, for being a threat to democracy, and for not protecting our nation on 9/11..but maybe some things are just too good to be true!!
Democrats don't want power, but Republicans do. It will not be long before the DNC and RNC merge..along with state parties, and then we have a one-party government. Loyalty to one's country will be determined by that citizen's loyalty to the Democratic-Republican party. If you are not loyal..you can only be an unGodly terrorist trying to destroy our sacred way of life. Enjoy your Diet Peske..no Dr. K allowed!! ;)
