Howard Dean Leads DNC Chairman Race
Hi, All

Found this story and link at Buzzflash. A poll has been conducted among the DNC members allowed to vote for chair. Not all members have participated in this poll, but I thought you might be interested.

Here's the link:

6. HELL YEAH!
Dean is the man! He needs to be the DNC chair if this party is truly going to fight back against these neocon pricks.

10. Damn it! This can't be true! I'll abandon the Dem party if we don't elect
Jim Blanchard as DNC chairman!
Okay, just kidding. I'll support whoever wins the vote. I don't feel that our entire future rides on one vote.

20. Yes he is.
If it weren't for him, we wouldn't have done as well as we did in November. He spoke out against the war when it was unpopular to do so. He is a true progressive moderate. He has balanced the budget in VT. He is well-liked in VT. His organizing and fundraising skills are phenomenal. And he stands his ground.

16. Dean for DNC chair is the only way forward
Dean has convinced a few million people that he is listening to them. As a recent state chair was quoted as saying, "No one else has done that", refering to the idea that she thought Dean was actively listening to her. Can we turn our back on that kind of belief?

17. Is there any way to support his candidacy?
I plead ignorance on this. I know we can't vote for him, but how do we affect the outcome?

21. Who runs the National Ledger?
I'm not certain the Deaniacs will see it that way. After defeat after defeat, the angry left is desperate for a victory, and this race is turning into an ideological battle. At some point, mainstream democrats had better get serious, or Howard Dean and his band of activists will be running the Democratic Party.

Can Dean Supporter do any worse that the DNC leaders of the past eight years?
