Whatever happened to Senator Barbara Mikulski?

Before the Internet, before the 24 hr news we used to see her in the Senate quite often.

...if she's standing with a bunch of other senators, you can't see her unless she's square in the front row.

one could barely see her neck, but, what a voice, and what a conviction.

Great to know that she is still there, on the barricades, even if she does not make it to the "talk shows" or other shows where one has to talk fast at almost monosyllable words.
