There's some funny stuff there, but I'm not engaging with the characters for some reason.

Does this comic have something specifically to do with MMORPGs? The title makes me think so. Could it be a riff on 4E D&D? The font in the strip's title hints that it is? If so, I'm not familiar with either of these things, so I may just be insufficiently versed in its particular tripes to connect with the humor. Richard's evil-for-the-hell-of-it attitude isn't particularly enthralling, but the author does at least seem to be inventive.
