Comic Book Day Recap: September 1
Had a good haul today:

Baltimore: Plague Ships #2
Hellboy: The Storm #3
Wolverine #1
The Boys #36
PS238 #46

The Mignola titles were excellent as usual, but the stand-out comic this week was actually Wolverine, and that is all due to the writer, Jason Aaron. Aaron, who created one of my very favorite titles, Scalped, has come up with a truly kick-ass Wolverine tale that is worth picking up. It's a breath of fresh air after the last year or so of Dark Wolverine and Siege, which resulted in my reducing my Marvel pull to a couple Ultimates titles and Warren Ellis' Astonishing X-Men. Jason Aaron's work on Wolverine and the new X-men series seem to show a return to a better form for Marvel's X-titles (although there are still way too many of them).

1. Trying to find places/outlets that sell
weekly comics is hard to come by in my neck of the woods, and I usually pick up graphics.

The last few graphics I got was All Star Superman vol. 1 and 2, and JLA vs. Avengers.

The JLA vs. Avengers was...sub par, didn't like the story much at all, it seemed to forced, and at times made no sense. It reminded me of Crisis on Infinite Earths, it had potential, but failed.

The All Star Superman I'm sorta split on, some things seemed good, and at times I felt confused about what was going on, but overall I think it was an above average Superman storyline.

I've been eyeballing the Blackest Night Grahpics, but they are spendy...but I plan on getting those next.

2. When I lived in places that didn't have actual comic book stores
I had my last comic book store send me my pull titles every month. Kinda pricey but worth it.
