1. I don't think I have 10.
Let's see:

Y: The Last Man
100 Bullets
The Losers
Ex Machina
Desolation Jones (bi-monthly, not monthly)
Planetary (coming out something like quarterly, and not far from wrapping up)

and those are all of the ongoing series I'm following right now. There are a few miniseries I'm reading, which I didn't count.

4. Sure.
Basic premise: A man known as "Agent Graves" gives people the opportunity to exact revenge on those who did them wrong; he offers them a gun, 100 rounds of ammunition, evidence, and total freedom from prosecution. The REAL story is who Graves is, who he's working for, and how he can offer this sort of thing...it involves a sinister and shadowy organisation known as "the Trust", that's secretly run things behind the scenes for centuries. It gets a LOT more complicated, but those are the basics.

3. I pick up several reissues a month- and anything by Alan Moore...
I like to buy the Marvel Essentials- I like the black & white. Has anyone else found Silver Age Marvel coloring weak, compared to DC?

...pretty soon I'm going to get some DC Archives- I wish they were in paper back.

I just bought DC's Best Imaginary Stories- it's awesome- Curt Swan is the best.

What new titles should I get?- I've not been impressed with much of what I've taken chances on. I guess I'm forever stuck in pre-Crisis mode.

12. Curt Swan is the best....
He use to always throw in a real life character, or TV character in the background of a superman Comic....

Like Archie and Edith.....

10. I'm probably going to pick up Superman/Action...
for the next few months, at least. I tend to follow writers more than characters, and I'm kind of interested in seeing what Kurt Busiek does with Superman (I really liked his Astro City suff).

Batman also looks fairly good...James Robinson (who did Starman) is on for the next 4 issues of Detective and Batman, and then Grant Morrison is going to be writing Batman. The post-"Infinite Crisis" storylines and writers may actually get me interested in DC's more mainstream superhero books again.

11. Only got a few monthlies going.
Knights of the Dinner Table, Ex Machina, Dork Tower, and Hellboy. The last two don't seem to arrive every month.

I wait for the trades of Lucifer and Fables.

13. I'm not sure I have a top 10.
Edited on Wed May-03-06 07:03 PM by gatorboy
But the books I normally pick up are:

1. Walking Dead
2. Y The Last Man
3. Hulk (Planet Hulk)
4. Hellboy
5. Love and Rockets
6. Infinite Crisis (Thought they are getting a little silly now..)
7. Whatever Chris Ware is doing

I have to admit, I'm not a big Marvel fan and had never picked up a HULK book before, but I'm really digging the Planet Hulk storyline.
