1. What gives ME vertigo is realizing...
...that they have Superman doing Neo (Matrix) doing his "Superman thing".

Almost shot for shot.

2. Actually I feel sorry for the guy playing Supes.
I mean Christophere Reeve was beyond brilliant in the role as Superman. How do you hope too compete against the greatest man of steel in history.?

4. It will be hard...
when i heard that Brandon Routh would be playing the new superman, my first gut action was, finally they picked someone! Then i have been seeing pictures, and spoiler pics on various websites, primarily capedwonder.com...and I am discouraged, because of his stature, he is not big, he is built like Keanu Reeves...and when I finally bought seasons 1-4 of smallville, i was upset that Tom Welling didn't get the nod, now that boy, he has done a great job...plus the episodes were they brought in Chris Reeves, and what not....I wish Tom Welling would have gotten the movie role, but Brandon has it....

I have also seen the new outfit, and i'm upset over that, its too dingy, reminds me of his outfit in superman III when he was all evil and what not, but again, i have seen some pictures, were it looks like he isn't wearing the dingy out fit...maybe, when he comes back, his outfit is all dirty/dingy, and then he changes into a cleaner, out fit...other than that though...i believe the casting is good, Kevin Spacey as lex!!...Kate Bosworth, i don't have an opinion of her, becasue i have never seen her in a movie before...but anyways...

5. Yeah, I understand that also...
I thought George Reeves did a good job also, but I grew up with Chris Reeves, and only watched the older episodes on Nick and Night, so I'm biased...:) The one thing I am clinging to is this...

Byan Singer, he directed Xmen and Xmen II. I thought that whoever took on those tasks would either fail, or fail really bad...and he did a fantastic job, in my opinion. He had to deal with a lot of comic book fans, and had a huge collection of hero's/villians to deal with, and I believe he did great job. I cling to the hope, that he does an equal job with Superman Returns, I can't wait until the end of June, when this movie comes out...

6. I can't wait either!!
I hope Routh is able to make the character his own.

I am sort of torn on the premise of the movie. On one hand I like that they pay homage to Reeve's Superman. However, I worry that in trying to be like Superman 1 and 2, they will lose their own identity.

I guess we'll all find out at the end of June.
