Marvel Civil war what do you think so far? *Spoilers*
I read the first three lead in books and I am hooked allready. I can't wait for it. I am also glad that Iron Man, for better or worse, is having a major part in it.

1. Written by Mark Millar...
He who has written the worst JLA story ever.
Has written worst Flash story I have ever seen, and conceived the horrid Ultimates, a travesty of an homage to the Mighty Avengers.

I will vomit on the book.

then pass.

2. Excited
Read AmSpid, FF, and the Illuminati. Can't wait to see the schism between the New Avengers.

Reading interviews and comments, even Joss Whedon is stunned, and can't believe the outcome.

3. I just read the main Civil War title
I for one am thrilled that you won't miss any major plot points if you don't buy every tie-in. THANK YOU MARVEL. The scene with Captain America totally kicking SHIELD ass was fantasticly drawn. Going to be pretty interesting, what with the events of Decimation still having major repercussions...

4. I really liked that first issue
That scene with Captain America was effing awesome.

So it looks like the Avengers are going to be split down the middle. My guess is that Spiderman switches sides at some point, as they've been pimping him as the pivotal character.

5. Spiderman - WTF???
Didn't see THAT coming. I had the same reaction as J.J. Jameson.

6. And that J.J.J. reaction was priceless!
First time I've laughed out loud over a comic book in a long time.

Civil War is shaping up to be quite a story. Infinite Crisis sort of fizzled out there in the end so here's hoping CW stays as interesting...

7. I can't wait to see Cap and Iron Man throw down
And from what I hear someone switches sides during the conflict.

I'm hoping that MJ and/or Aunt May is killed as a result of Peter revealing himself and he joins the resistance. That would be a HUGE change to Spider-man, but we've been told that he goes through the most during the whole event. I guess you could speculate that the change is the identity reveal, but I bet there is more coming for him.

8. Oh, yeah.
I totally agree that the identity reveal is just the beginning of the snowball rolling down the hill for Spidey.

Now I can't wait for Wednesday...

10. You and me both.
I haven't been excited about comics in years. Heck, I don't even have a problem paying the $2.99/per for comic books because of this storyline.

Still can't figure out where Spidey is in all of this and who the "new" Daredevil is.

Anyway, it's great and I hope a TPB comes out for it. It's definitely a keeper.

Of course when all is said and done, Scarlet Witch will come back and erase everything that happened and set the Marvel Univers back to what it was.

12. That final panel in issue 3...(spoiler)
Man, that was some nice work by McNiven!

Unless Thor pulls a double cross or something, the rebels are in DEEP shit!

13. I agree but what would be cool
Edited on Thu Aug-03-06 04:04 AM by DanCa
would be seeing Thor and Sentry going toe to toe. Is it just me or does Cap's side seem a little under powered compared to Iron Man's team?

14. More than a little
They are seriously outgunned.

I wonder where the Sentry is going to fall on this? His little Sentry treehouse is sitting right above Tony Stark's tower so I'd assume he's fighting on the registration side.

I just don't see how the rebels are going to make it unless they get a heavy hitter to join their ranks.

Cap was really getting effed up by Iron Man.

15. Fantastic Four 539 *spoilers* Thing Issue
I just got finished with the new FF comic. I am not sure the number because I don't have the comic in front of me. I was impressed with book great stuff. However I was surprised by his decision to leave the country. He would have been a huge assett to the Rebels.

18. I'll check it out
Although I remember seeing the Thing fighting with the Registration side in Civil War issue 3. I don't know if that issue comes before or after the FF issue you're referencing.
