New Warren Ellis Series
Doktor Sleepless-Future Science Jesus!

I picked up issue 1 yesterday, and I was really impressed. It has the feel of Transmetropolitan. It's another look at a dystopian future, but not as manic as Transmet was. It's a little more understated, but has an obvious undercurrent of mindfuckery.

Give it a try, especially if you liked Transmet.

I also picked up his graphic novel, Crecy, which is about the battle of Crecy in the late 14th century in France, where English longbowmen utterly devastated the French army, and ushered in the change from medieval warfare to more modern tactics. It's also a sort of homage to the English Bastard. I recommend it as well.
