Jon Stewart's Appearance on "Crossfire."
"Jon Stewart's Brutal Exchange With CNN Host" (2004)

For those of you who have never had the privilege of watching this incredibly uncomfortable exchange, in its entirety, here it is. I had never seen the whole thing, only clips. Also, on the right hand side, Jon Stewart "spins" his "Crossfire" appearance, on his own show.:-)

3. I laughed my ass off the first time I saw it
I have a feeling that it really did get people to stop and think about exactly what they were watching.

4. Jon sorta got Carlson fired.
I'm sure my subject erked the little English teacher in all of us, but "sorta got" seemed more likely to fit then "may have been indirectly responsible for getting".

I recall when Carlson's contract was being ended, his boss stated something to the effect of "I guess I came down more firmly in the Stewart camp".

So how cool is that?!?! Jon comes on the guys show, calls him a dick and a partisan hack, and gets Carlson fired from his own show. Best 15 minutes of TV ever, especially knowing the conclusion.

5. Maybe we should encourage JOn to visit the set of FOX and
the corporate offices and get them all fired, too!

Watch out billy, here's Jonny!

6. If Crossfire had better ratings it might not have happened. But
I think Jon should get some credit for TC's new show being less disgusting, due to Rachel's appearance on it, and less shouting.

7. Wow
I had not seen the Kanye West comments "Bush doesn´t care about black people" before.

The remix located on that site is quite powerful!
