2. www.skiffvets.com
One of the DVD extras is a hilarious Swift Boat Vets-style ad denigrating George Washington's military service ("Continental Skiff Boat Oarsmen for Veracity"). It ends with the above URL flashed on the screen. For a lark, I entered it into a web browser, and was promptly redirected to the real Swifties' site.

Swiftvets.com was registered in April '04. Skiffvets.com was registered with different owner information the following September. Wanna bet it was in response to this Daily Show sketch--which I don't recall, but I assume actually aired?

3. ^ ^ ^ Thats pretty humorous....
I get the feeling most of Stewart's audience is liberals. So I don't think most people who type in that URL from his skit, then are re-directed to the Swift Boat Liars website will be pleased.

I got the DVD, and love it. Stephen Colbert is my absolute favorite. I love his interview with Al Sharpton. "Stick it to the man" LOL.

The coverage of the DNC and RNC are classic. I missed most of the Daily Show's election stuff, in the account I was volunteering most nights or catching up on work. So it was refreshing to finally see what all the laughter was about :)

Best thirty dollars I've ever spent!

6. Me too
I love Stephen Colbert's interviews from Disc 3. GOLD!!!

I recommend this for any Daily Show follower or fan. Even if you don't like the Daily Show, their election 2004 coverage was hilarious.

7. You know, I *taped* "Indecision 1996" and "Indecision 2000"
TDS would do special 1/2 hour or one hour election specials, so I put my VCR on timer. I don't recall if I ever watched them! heh heh
