But that doesn't mean the U.S. Senate candidate from Longboat Key will be taking "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" up on its recent offer to appear on the comedy show. Just a week ago, Stewart was comparing Harris to Ace Frehley of KISS, the rock band known for wearing heavy makeup.
Harris, who said she doesn't even know what "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" is, said she'll probably pass.
"It is not high on my list of priorities," she said.
Harris said she'll continue to go on national talk shows but will stick with serious programs where real issues will be discussed.
"The Daily Show," on Comedy Central, has become a regular stop for many politicians, both Republican and Democrat. Last year, Sen. John Kerry, Sen. John McCain, former President Bill Clinton and then-Republican National Committee Chairman Ed Gillespie all were interviewed on the show.
