Headsup: STOP H.R. 1316, the "Make Congress More Corrupt" Bill

I've posted info and text on this blatantly crooked bill in GD-P, along with a link to a site that facilitates emailing Representatives to urge them to oppose it. Here's the thread:

Please come and join the discussion. Legislative maven insight is needed to clarify what all the provisions of this bill would actuallly do. Some of them are obvious and some are less so because of the esoteric language. What is buried in there? It would obviously open the door to all kinds of corrupt politics that is a bit inconvenient now - we need to lay it all out into clear talking points and publicize it.

And let me know if you want me to repost the whole thing here. I put it in GD-P so it would be more widely seen, though so far it has attracted little interest.

& truth to tell, i'm part of the sluggishness, since i've had this forum marked for at least two months in "my forums" - but this is my first post here... seems like following GD has taken up most of my attention.

there's a lot i want and need to learn on legislative issues, generally...
and to fight this particularly egregious FATCAT BILL effectively!

it pays to venture out from GD & GD-Politics - so i'm going to begin "mining" from what's here already, and visiting every time i log on.

thanks for your initiative on this emergent bill stinking to high heaven and needing all the resistance and opposition we can bring to bear!

The response has been less than fever-pitch, and it's good to see that some people did see that this bill needs some serious analysis, attention, publicization, and oppostion.
