It's got the press releases front and center, and the newsletter and legislation easily at hand. Traditional stuff, but in the margin it's got videos of C-span speeches on the floor, the "line of the day" with some very interesting quotations from around the news, and check out the "Democratic Priorities" section towards the bottom.

More transparent than my congressman.

1. Yipes
To each his own, but that is just a wash of text, and butt ugly to boot.

IMO.

sorry

but I really wasn't referring to the web site scheme, more the features that aren't normally available in other congressional web sites, hence why I didn't post this in the software developer's forum

3. My sister who is an artist said that one of the things that
helped to defeat some candidates in 2004 was the lack of research into what various colors attract more attention. Hopefully someone in the DNC or candidate's workers will be able to do a better job in 2006 and 2008.

5. Are you serious?
I mean, I always knew that people were stupid, but votes are actually going to be won just by having bright, shiny colors? :dunce: That's....really, really, really sad. Like the White Clown from Farenheit 451...sortof. *sigh* will people ever learn to look past the propoganda and make their political opinions based upon facts and evidence?

4. To pile on with some of the other posters
Some members' websites are downright ugly and amateurish in appearance. I can't recall any off the top of my head (probably repressing them), but man I've seen some bad ones.

6. I agree. This is the most on top site.Love that it doesn't posture.
It's straight to the point, on topic, and current. Wow, is George Miller this good or is his Webmaster that good?
