Group Member Solicitation - Defense Issues

It occurs to me that we have no Group or topic for Defense Issues. I'm requesting 10 donors, per the rules, to participate in a group engaged in defense issues.

I suggest the group's mission be:
"To discuss topical issue pertinent to the military defense of the US, with a view towards martial effectiveness and economic efficiency"

Personally, I have an education in systems engineer, and have never served in the military. Specifically I am interested in organizational structure, though, discussing Military Systems is always interesting.

I posted this under 'Congress', as they control the budget of the DoD. I will be crossposting it under a select few other groups.
