98 Jag XK8 convertible. Two issues:
1) Looks like previous kerb dings have slightly compressed and misaligned front panel that wraps around upper front of the car - stands up a touch from the hood. Back when I cared about cars there used to be people called "panel beaters" who could do just that to restore metal parts to shape/alignment, but now it seems replacement rules. Still doable?
2) Quite possibly related the previous owner had the silly boy racer plastic body kit put on - to pretend it was an XKR possibly. Sides and front/rear. This reduces the ground clearance to an inconvenient level. Possible to remove without ruining what's beneath? Best I can tell no bolts - must be just glue.
Thanks!
